School Services

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy in the school setting is usually associated with handwriting. The truth is that Occupational Therapy can benefit students in many ways beyond fine motor skills. Chances are if you have a student struggling with academics, behavior, or even social skills, working with an Occupational Therapist can help bridge the gap between their present level and where they should be.

Speech Therapy

There are many aspects of speech that can affect your student’s ability to learn in school. While speech therapy can benefit those who have difficulty with speech sounds, it goes far beyond just that. Speech Therapists can help with language and literacy skills, as well as improving peer socialization and cognitive communication, even the way students process thoughts and ideas.

Psychology and Testing

School psychologists support a students’ ability by applying expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. They administer psychological and educational exams, and interpret and apply these findings to the specific needs of the student. They can also provide psychological counseling for children and parents and assist in the development of positive behavioral intervention strategies.

Special Education Teachers

Special Education Teachers provide support for students in core subjects, including Language Arts, Reading, Writing, and Math. Their services are tailored to each student’s individual learning goals as established in their Individualized Education Plans. Their expertise is designed to help students succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.

Kid-friendly, Highly Skilled Interventions

The best interventions are ones kids love to do. That’s why we see great success with the children we work with. The greater the repetition of therapeutic interventions the more rapid progress a child can make. Focusing on the specific areas a child needs to improve, and making therapy fun is exactly what turns our therapy programs into success.

Richard’s company has been amazing to work with at our school. Reliable, professional and highly competent. They understand our complex model and comprehensive “in place” services (cursive, learning position, keyboarding) and work diligently to accommodate that.
